Workplace Skills Partnerships and Research

The Workplace Skills Strategy is based on research, analysis and international experience, as well as advice we received from our stakeholders through a series of consultations across Canada.

The Government of Canada will continue to work closely with its partners to ensure that all Canadians have the opportunity to develop their skills and succeed. While the Government has a role in initiating and facilitating this new Strategy, it will work closely with other levels of government, as well as with business, unions, sector councils, employer and employee associations, local economic development organizations, non-government organizations, workers and other partners, to implement the Strategy.
