My Service Canada Account: An improved Service

Changes when logging in to EI and CPP/OAS on-line services

What's New?

Available on November 22, 2006, my Service Canada Account will serve as a single point of entry or access door for clients who wish to use the following Employment Insurance (EI), Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Old Age Security (OAS) on-line services:

  • My Employment Insurance Information on-line - a place to view and update your claim information
  • Tax Information Slips on-line - which allows CPP, OAS, and EI clients to view and print their T4 data
  • Canada Pension Plan View Your Statement of Contributions on-line - a tool to view how much you have contributed to the CPP and estimate your pension entitlement
  • View and Update Personal Information - a way for CPP/OAS clients to view and update their personal information

Changes when logging in to our on-line Services

You will have to register for a Government of Canada epass which will require that you create an epass User ID and Password. Learn more about epass.

Then, you will have to prove your identity with Service Canada by entering personal information. You will also need to enter your Employment Insurance Access Code or your Canada Pension Plan/Old Age Security Personal Access Code.

You will only be required to prove your identity one time. On subsequent visits you will only need to enter your new epass user ID and password in order to access the services available under My Service Canada Account.
