Canada Study Grant for the Accommodation of Students with Permanent Disabilities
The Canada Study Grant for the Accommodation of Students with Permanent Disabilities (PDF Format - 652 KB) is awarded to full- and part-time students with a permanent disability who must cover expenses that are related to their disability, such as the cost of tutors, interpreters, attendant care or special equipment.

Eligibility Information
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- have a permanent disability (supported by appropriate medical documentation)
- require exceptional education-related services or equipment to be able to participate in post-secondary studies
- be eligible for a full-time or a part-time Canada Student Loan
- other criteria may apply
Application Information
- Candidates must first apply and qualify for Canada Student Loan assistance; they must then complete and submit a separate grant application form.
- Grant and loan application forms are available from provincial and territorial student assistance offices, and at financial aid offices in educational institutions.
