Financial Advice
The Financial Advice program allows veterans to seek out the advice of a financial expert to help manage the lump sum payment they’ve received from Disability Awards, Detention Benefits or Death Benefits. If the payment is $12,500 or more, some, or all, of the fees related to this advice may be paid by Veterans Affairs Canada, up to a maximum of $500.
