Form 24-0078 - The revised form Authorized Release Certificate is the direct result of the Harmonization of Airworthiness Approval Forms Project, initiated in 1998 by the Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and Transport Canada. The authorities agreed to standardize the existing JAA Form One, FAA Form 8130-3 and TCCA Form 24-0078 according to a single, internationally recognized format, for the release of either newly manufactured or used (maintained) parts.
