Description:
These regulations sets out the list of federal authorities for the purposes of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act. Bodies that are designated as federal authority are responsible to ensure a proponent undertakes an environmental assessment prior to approval.

The CEAA also maintains a public registry system where you can consult a master list of all the environmental assessments carried out under Act. The registry also provides a contact person for each assessment to provide the public with an opportunity to obtain additional information they may require.
