Commercial & Business Aviation is responsible for the safety regulation, inspection and monitoring of all Canadian business and commercial air operators, as well as foreign air operators who operate in Canadian airspace. Branch inspectors conduct inspections, audits and evaluations in the areas of flight operations, cabin safety, the transportation of dangerous goods, and occupational health and safety on board commercial and business aircraft. This monitoring includes training programs and facilities, as well as technical performance evaluations on simulators and other training devices. In Headquarters, the Branch also develops policies, standards, guidance and regulations pertinent to its area of responsibility. Divisions: |
