Green Gables National Historic Site is located nearby on Rte 6 West. Cavendish is also home to world-famous author, Lucy Maud Montgomery. Friendly staff give directions, information on accommodations, day tours and attractions. The Parks and People Nature Store offers a variety of unique gifts and souvenirs. The Centre offers unique and informative displays and a sampling of Island artisans' products. Open mid-May to mid-Oct, daily.
