Medical Assessment & Training is conducted under the auspices of the Canadian Forces Environmental Medicine Establishment (CFEME), the military component of Defence R&D Canada – Toronto (DRDC Toronto). CFEME personnel provide unique medical and military services in support of DRDC Toronto's mission.
Medical Assessment
Specialized medical assessments, consultations and expert case reviews are conducted in support of Canadian Forces requirements.
Flight Surgeon's Guidelines
Flight Surgeon's Guidelines are produced by the Central Medical Board (CMB). These documents provide guidance on a variety of aeromedical issues that practicing Flight Surgeons face on a regular basis. Although these guidelines are based on the most current information, they do not replace current DGHS publications. All conflicting information between the Flight Surgeon's Guidelines on this site and DGHS publications should be brought to the attention of Head, Central Medical Board by email or by telephone to (416) 635-2014, 2016 or 2017 (CSN 634-2014, 2016 or 2017).
