Phase 2 was initiated in April and reflects the Organization Review and Design Study (PDF Version) (Phase 1). Phase 2 includes, but is not limited to the following key elements:
  • Determine if the activity descriptions for each b ranch in headquarters and regional division was appropriately allocated.
  • Determine the number of Operations Managers within each region
  • Develop a Human Resource Strategy and Plan
  • Establish the NOTIP Team
  • Link with other Civil Aviation initiatives (e.g. IMS process mapping)
  • Develop and monitor transitional structures
  • Develop national executive work descriptions
Please note, while the key elements are listed sequentially many will be conducted concurrently.

The following provides a schedule including a more detailed breakdown of major activities in terms of start and completion dates.

Phase 2 started April 1, 2006 and completed December 13, 2006.
