Millenium Eco-Communities on the Green Lane Through our Millennium Eco-Communities web site, Environment Canada is encouraging more Canadians to get involved by developing an up-to-date and comprehensive information resource on environmental issues, best practices, tools, tips and networking opportunities.
Rescue Mission The Green Lane Rescue Mission Indicators
Here, young Canadians in schools and other places of learning, together with their educators, will conduct assessments of their school or group surroundings and report to the Minister of the Environment. The Minister will present the report to the United Nations where the voice of Canadian youth will be heard by the world.
From the Mountains to the Sea From the Mountains to the Sea is a journey along the Eco River - a journey in environmental citizenship for students in grades 5-8. Designed to introduce students to the concept of environmental citizenship in a fun and exciting way, From the Mountains to the Sea is packed with fun activities and ideas for projects both in and out of school.
