Selection Committee
- The Selection Committee consists of two representatives from the aviation industry and two Transport Canada,
Civil Aviation officials.
- Members of the Committee are not eligible to receive the Award nor to submit nominations.
- The Selection Committee select the nominee who, in its judgment, is most deserving of the award and submit
its recommendation to the Assistant Deputy Minister, Safety and Security (or designate) at Transport Canada.
Assistant Deputy Minister, Safety and Security
- The Assistant Deputy Minister, Safety and Security is not a member of the Selection Committee itself.
- The Assistant Deputy Minister, Safety and Security may, as required, request reconsideration or further
deliberation by the Selection Committee.
- The Assistant Deputy Minister, Safety and Security may select the Award recipient if the Selection Committee
cannot reach a decision.
