TAC - Products and Services - Online Databases

TAC offers website users a number of searchable databases. Those noted as "free access" may be searched at no charge. The Directory of Canadian Data Sources, an inventory of statistical transportation data sources in Canada, is available on a subscription basis in both hard copy and electronic format. The Urban Indicators Database is an online supplement to the TAC publication, Urban Transportation Indicators: Survey 2 (1999). A password is provided with the purchase of the publication.

Other Databases

NRCan's Commercial Vehicle Information Locator (CVIL) Database
The CVIL website provides an on-line inventory of available commercial vehicle information (i.e. reports, surveys, magazines, tables, data) and facilitates communication between individuals interested in such information. The site is comprised of two components: firstly, a search tool for the user to query the database and obtain contact information on specific commercial vehicle data sources, and secondly, a submission tool for the user to add new data sources to the inventory.
