Chemical Sector SR&ED Joint Industry-CRA Workshops

CRA and the Chemical and Allied Industries Group (CAIG) are organizing three workshops for the chemical sector in Calgary (Tuesday November 7, 2006), Toronto (Wednesday November 22, 2006), and Montreal (Tuesday December 5, 2006). Each workshop lasts one full day. Information will be presented on both technical and financial SR&ED issues for the chemical industry sector.

The focus of this workshop is on claiming experimental development in a commercial setting for plant trials using various continuous multi-stage full-scale processes. There will be presentations and case studies from Part 2 of the Chemicals Guidance Document #3.

This workshop is being moderated by Dr. Supriya SenGupta, National Technology Sector Specialist for the Chemicals and Pulp & Paper industry sectors, and will include speakers from both the chemical industry and the CRA.

The workshop agenda and the registration form can be downloaded from the Canadian Chemical Producers Association (CCPA) web site at www.ccpa.ca. Attendance is limited to 90, and it is necessary to pre-register by filling in and returning the registration form.
