Operational Approval of the Central Deicing Facility at Toronto-Lester B.
Pearson International Airport
INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this Commercial and Business Aviation Advisory Circular
(CBAAC) is to ensure that foreign and domestic air and private operators are aware of
the deicing procedures in effect at the Toronto-Lester B. Pearson International
Airport Central Deicing Facility.

BACKGROUND
The deicing/anti-icing operations at the Toronto-Lester B. Pearson International
Airport Central Deicing Facility are operated by GlobeGround North America Inc.,
(formerly operated by Hudson General). The GlobeGround Ground Handling Manual, Chapter 5, Deicing Services, Annex A, contains the Transport Canada, Civil Aviation approved
deicing/anti-icing operational procedures.
These Transport Canada, Civil Aviation approved procedures may be used and inserted
into an air or private operator's approved ground icing program.
ACQUIRING THE MOST RECENT VERSION
The most recently approved version of the GlobeGround Ground Handling Manual,
Chapter 5, Deicing Services, Annex A, may be obtained by communicating directly with
