The Customs Internet Gateway (CIG) was initiated to give CCRA trading partners an alternative delivery channel for the transmission of cargo, release, and accounting data.

Using a public key infrastructure, CCRA trading partners will be able to send and receive data over the Internet. Medium-level assurance certificates will be issued by the CCRA Certification Authority (CA) to each trading partner wishing to use the electronic transactions methods.

The CIG project will use an online registration process for issuing certificates. For additional information please select the "Requirements" menu option.
