Canada is a party to many international environmental agreements and arrangements. This searchable database provides users with basic information about some of them, including brief summaries of the commitments they contain. The database was originally developed by the Office of the Auditor General and the Commissioner for the Environment and Sustainable Development. Responsibility for the maintenance and updating of the database has been assumed by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
