Success Stories

In this section, you will get to meet people who have taken part in international youth programs. You will get to read their stories and relive their European adventures with them.

	*Line Génadry with Chantiers Jeunesse: France, Italy and Germany* I decided to join Chantiers jeunesse that sends Québec youth abroad to work as community development volunteers alongside fifteen other young people from all over the world.
	Greg Long in the Netherlands: An Academic Exchange to Erasmus University Rotterdam I participated in an academic exchange that was organized by Carleton University in Ottawa to Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands for one semester.
	Raymond Francis in Belgium: An International Experience through a Co-operative Education Program I participated in an international internship through the co-operative education program at the University of Ottawa. I worked for three months in Leuven, Belgium, with a company that tests and develops software.
	Julie Hazekamp: A Student Work Abroad Program in Ireland I participated in the Student Work Abroad Program (SWAP) in Ireland. Once in Ireland, I worked in administration at the Union of Students Ireland Travel (USIT) in Dublin, processing visa applications for Irish students who wanted to travel or work in Canada.
	Mark Sdao in Denmark: An Internship with IAESTE I gained overseas experience through IAESTE by doing a placement in Denmark.
	Kevin Adams in Switzerland: Witnessing the United Nations from the Inside I had the opportunity to complete an internship at the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research in Switzerland through Foreign Affairs Canada's Young Professionals International program.
