How to use pdf files

Portable Document Format (PDF) files are medium-sized files that allow documents to be shared over the Internet. It is a very common way to share information with lots of other people in a document that looks really great.

If you are not familiar with how to download files onto your computer, follow the steps below, and if you're really stuck, ask someone for help.

To view PDF files, you have to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If you do not have this installed on your computer, you can click here to obtain your own free copy.

Follow the instructions in your web browser for installing Acrobat and you're almost ready to start viewing some PDF files.

If you have Acrobat installed on your computer, your web browser may start to display the PDF file in your web browser. If it doesn't view the file right away, your web browser may try and download the file to your computer so you can view it from there.

Some of the files may take a few minutes to download to your system. Be patient -- they're worth the wait!

Download Adobe Reader.
