About HTML

General Information

Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) is a programming language that allows your browser to display text. The advantage of HTML is that you will not require any additional software to view HTML documents.

View and print

To view a document in HTML, click on a hyperlinked word or image to access the HTML file it's linked to. The document will then appear for you to read.

To print an HTML document, click on the print icon or button on your browser's toolbar.

OR

Select "File" and then "Print" in your Web browser's menu bar.

Note
When you are printing documents of more than one or two pages, or searching for terms within a multi-page document, it is simpler to use a Portable Document Format (.pdf) than an HTML format.

Download

When you've accessed an HTML file, select "File" and then "Save As" in your Web browser's menu bar and save in the directory of your choice.
