For young adults, the budget issue is often the first obstacle to be overcome before travelling abroad. That is why many institutions, organizations and governments offer financial assistance.

Your budget should take exchange rates into consideration and reflect the fact that prices may fluctuate depending on the season. A budget ranging from $40 to $75 a day should be set aside, that includes local travel, accommodations, food and entertainment. It is better to set aside too much rather than not enough!
