Clean Air Online

Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)

Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) play a key role in the pursuit of clean air. They actively participate in national, provincial and territorial processes for clean air, and work directly with Canadians to encourage them to take action. Importantly, they continue to challenge and inspire governments and citizens to improve.

Their activities within communities make them accessible and able to provide Canadians with opportunities to participate locally, nationally and even globally.

For a comprehensive list of environmental groups, international networks, industries associations and governmental contacts, as well as other types of valuable information visit the Canadian Environmental Network (CEN) and look for its Green List directory.
