About the Editors
Kjell Rubenson is an educational policy analyst and professor of adult education at the University of British Columbia. He received his academic degrees in Sweden and held the chair of adult education at the University of Linköping before moving to Canada fifteen years ago. He is director of the Centre for Policy Studies in Higher Education and Training.
Hans G. Schuetze studied in Germany, France, and the United States. Before coming to Canada, he worked as a lawyer in private practice, as an advisor to two levels of government in Germany, and as a policy analyst at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris. He is now a professor higher education at the University of British Columbia and a research fellow at the Centre for Policy Studies in Higher Education and Training.
