Certificate?
Take your certificate to an exam centre along with proof of at least one year's

No. Only Canadian certificates are valid aboard Canadian vessels.

coming into force?

How do I arrange for a Bulk Carrier Inspection?
Fax the vessel particulars to (604) 666-5444 along with the estimated time of
arrival and the port of loading. The agent's name and contact phone number must
be included in the fax. For more information, call the Marine Safety Office

Do I have to report an oil spill?
Yes. The usual route is to call Vessel Traffic Services, either by VHF radio
