Application for a Permit

If a person wishes to carry on an activity related to transporting dangerous goods in a way that is not in compliance with the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations, he or she must apply for a permit following the information requirements in Part 14 of the TDG Regulations and must show that the way in which the activity will be carried on will provide a level of safety equivalent to complying with the Regulations.

List of Valid Permits

A listing of all valid permits, over 2000 in number, is available for review. The listing is updated regularly. The permits are shown by permit number and identify the permit holder and the permit issue and expiry date.

You can also search for valid permits. (In the Find: field enter "Permit ###" or "Permit company_name". Substituting permit number for ### and company name for company_name.)
