Canadian CAFC Goals and National Averages

The CAFC goal for passenger cars has not changed since 1986, and the light-duty truck goal has not changed since 1995. The current CAFC goals are:

  • New passenger car fleet:    8.6 litres/100km
  • New light-duty truck fleet: 11.4 litres/100km
