Comparing Label Values to On-Road Fuel Consumption

No test can simulate all the possible combinations of climate, road condition or vehicle load.

The laboratory test results are adjusted to account for the difference between controlled test conditions and real-world driving conditions. However, the on-road fuel consumption of your vehicle will vary depending on how and when you drive, the weather and road conditions, the type of optional equipment you have installed on your vehicle and the condition of your vehicle.

For more information go to Factors that Affect On-Road Fuel Consumption.
