Browser Security

To make sure that you can complete your transactions securely and confidentially, you must use a Web browser that has 128-bit secure sockets layer encryption (SSL).

Browser Test

If you would like to make sure your browser meets the CCRA security standard and settings, click on the "Test" button. If you don't have a browser that meets the security standard, you can download one onto your computer. Just pick the package you need for your computer from our Browser set-up page.

To ensure that you're identified during your online session, you should also make sure your cookies are turned on in your browser settings.

Although other Web browsers may also function, we've tested two that are proven to work with the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency's services.

• 128-bit Netscape (version 4.x or higher).
