Whether you like to express yourself in visual art or in writing, you are encouraged to submit an entry about Canada's Species at Risk to the Robert Bateman National Wildlife Week Writing & Art Contests. Are you fascinated by life in the Arctic, and you see yourself on an excursion in the North? Can you imagine what the conditions were for Arctic explorers a century and a half ago? Prepare an essay, poem, poster, film, or other creation answering those questions and submit it to the Polar Bound Contest. You could be one of two deserving high school students to join a team of scientists and teachers in the Arctic, from June 15 to June 26, 2006, thanks to Canadian Geographic and Students on Ice.
