Departmental Evaluation Services Moves to Corporate Services

Recognizing the importance of strong and integrated management services, Departmental Evaluations Services has been transferred from the Policy Group to the Corporate Services Group.

Departmental Evaluation Services core business will remain unchanged.  It will continue to conduct evaluation studies, help managers develop results frameworks, including Results-Based Management and Accountability Frameworks required under the Treasury Board Policy on Transfer Payments, and provide advice on results planning and reporting in the Program Activity Architecture, Report on Plans and Priorities and Departmental Performance Report.

The Director of Departmental Evaluation Services, Gail Young, now reports directly to the ADM, Corporate Services.  Departmental Evaluation Services new routing symbol is ADE and their location, phone numbers and e-mail addresses are unchanged.
