The Ontario Co-operative Association (On Co-op) is a primary resource and common voice for the development and enhancement of co-operatives and credit unions. 

Through On Co-op, member co-operatives, credit unions and stakeholders have access to programs and services in Government Relations; Lifelong Co-operative Learning;
Co-operative Development; and Communications and Member Relations.


  What's New

Provincial Co-operative Gala. Wednesday October 18, 2006. 
Thanks to everyone for another successful Gala.  Over 260 co-operators and co-op supporters from across the province, the country and the USA attended.  If you attended, please fill out our on-line evaluation summary HERE.  Your comments and suggestions are appreciated and will be reviewed by the organizing committee.  To view the presentations made during Gala workshops, please click HERE.

 

New Funding Program for Biofuel and Value-Added Agriculture Co-ops! The Canadian Co-operative Association has a new funding program available for biofuel co-ops and value-added agriculture co-ops.  Money is available for technical assistance and learning exchanges for both existing and start-up co-ops in these areas.  Priority will be given to existing biofuel and value-added co-ops with some money available for start-up initiatives.  The deadlines for applications are very short:  November 6 for new co-ops and December 15 for the Learning Exchange program.

 Coming Soon:  THE FIRST SURVEY OF ONTARIO CO-OPS AND CREDIT UNIONS. Ths survey will provide the co-operative and credit union sector with information that will demonstrate the size, scope and role of co-ops and credit unions in Ontario. The survey will also identify constraints and capacity issues.  All co-ops and credit unions in Ontario are requested to participate in the survey, which is being facilitated by On Co-op.  More...
