Until recently President of Dairy Farmers of Canada and of the Fédération des producteurs de lait du Québec, Mr. Jean Grégoire was appointed Commissionner of the Canadian Dairy Commission on May 7th, 2004.
Mr. Grégoire has been involved in various dairy producer groups since 1975, when he became administrator of the Syndicat des producteurs de lait de Saint-Hyacinthe. He and his two sons operate a dairy and grain farm in St. Alexandre d'Iberville in Québec. His broad experience of the dairy industry and dairy policies are a great asset for the Commission.
