Questions for Rural Canadians
Rural Dialogue Workshop

PLEASE NOTE

This Rural Dialogue Workbook indicates that input will be collected until July 31, 1998. This date was chosen in order to allow sufficient time to analyse the input and develop a Discussion Paper that was used as the basis for further discussions by rural Canadians at the National Rural Workshop held October 2‑4 1998, Belleville, Ontario.

This is only the first stage of the Rural Dialogue. The Federal Government is committed to ensuring that rural Canadians continue to have a means of providing their opinions and ideas on rural matters so that they can influence federal government policy. You can still make your views known by completing and returning this Workbook either individually or as a result of a group discussion. Your responses will be read and incorporated into the ongoing focus of federal departments and agencies on rural Canada .
