|
|
|
FHC 2005 Shanghai attracted 678 companies from 32 countries and regions
around the world, as well as approximately 15,500 professional visitors.
Similar to previous years, the Canadian Consulate General, along with
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, will organize a special Canadian national
pavilion. The Canada Pavilion will be distinctly decorated with a Team
Canada theme that will include Canadian agri-food logos and signs. Canadian
participants will be provided with many opportunities to learn about the
Shanghai market and to network with key local buyers and agents from the
Yangzi Delta region, as well as the rest of the country. There are currently
28 companies in Shanghai that import value-added Canadian food products
on a regular basis and the interest is growing rapidly.
We invite your company to participate and exhibit as part of the Canada
Pavilion at FHC Shanghai 2006. Canadian agriculture and food products
are welcomed in China for their safety and high quality. Our priority
in Shanghai is to promote Canadian processed and packaged foods, meats,
seafood, dairy products, beverages and key food ingredients.
To register your participation for the Canada Pavilion at FHC 2006 please
complete the attached Canada Pavilion Registration form and return it
to the Canadian Consulate General in Shanghai by e-mail or fax prior to
July 15, 2006. You will be promptly contacted with further details. In
order to avoid any disappointment, please reserve your booth space for
the Canada Pavilion as early as possible, as space is limited.
For 2006: A 50% reduction in the cost of a Basic Exhibit Package for first-time FHC Canada Pavilion exhibitors, as described in the attached Canada Pavilion Registration Form (i.e.: US$1,575 for a 9 m2 “Walk-on” booth). This offer is not available in conjunction with any other direct or indirect Government of Canada funding.
For questions regarding exhibiting within the Canadian Pavilion at FHC 2006, please contact the exhibition organizer's Canadian Representative, Mr. Derek Complin of Unilink [Tel.: 613-549-0404, E-mail: dc@unilinkfairs.com, Fax : 613-549-2528).
