SAVE THE SOCIAL ECONOMY INITIATIVE!

CCA is very concerned with the Conservative Government’s plan to cut over $39 million from the Social Economy Initiative. This was unspent money originally allocated to the regional development agencies for both business development and long-term loans for community enterprises such as co-operatives. We are asking the government to reconsider the cut, particularly since the program is going ahead in Quebec. We need your help to save the Social Economy Initiative.
