![]() Ingredients Technical Training Mission to China, the Philippines & IndonesiaMarch 11-31, 2007Dear Exporter: On behalf of the Canadian Food Exporters Association (CFEA) and Food Beverage Canada (FBC) we're pleased to invite you to participate in an Ingredients Technical Training Mission to China, the Philippines & Indonesia.
There are two components to this program: 1. You will have the opportunity to present your company/ingredients at technical workshops to decision makers in various food processing companies. The workshops are designed to highlight the differences between Canadian ingredient manufacturers versus their international competitors and to increase brand awareness of Canadian ingredient companies' capacity in China and SE Asia. The workshops will also provide food product developers and technicians with application knowledge to enhance the palatability of their processed foods and beverages. CFEA & FBC will be working with local distributors and the various Canadian Embassies to identify appropriate clientele to invite to the workshops. 2. Workshops in Indonesia, exhibit at FIC China): Expenses included in the fees above are funded in part by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada through the CAFI program with the exception of meal expenses in each location. Funded items include booth space/furnishing costs (maximum 2 companies per 9m2), meeting space within booth, administration fees associated with running the program, development/distribution of marketing materials & CD for handout in all locations. In addition to the funded items above, upon completion of the program you will receive a reimbursement of 45% of your airfare (economy ticket), CDN $180.00 per day towards your hotel/meals expenses and 45% of your sample shipment costs.
