32nd
Winter Fancy Food Show (WFFS)
January 21-23, 2007
Moscone Center, San Francisco, CA |
|
Dear Exporter,
We have the pleasure of inviting you to join the Canada Pavilion at the
Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, from January 21 to 23, 2007.
The 2007 WFFS is one of the most important annual expositions and attracts
from 19,000 to 32,000 attendees from specialty food, wine, gift and department
stores, supermarkets, restaurants, mail-order and other related businesses.
These attendees come to see more than a thousand exhibitors from around
the world, presenting more than 100,000 specialty foods to discover and
sample.
The gourmet/specialty food trade in the United States is a US$13 billion
market. The show is expected to feature more than 900 American exhibitors
and 400 foreign exhibitors, and to attract 25 000 qualified buyers from
over 87 countries. The show draws senior representatives from virtually
every segment of the retail and foodservice industries – retailers,
restaurateurs, brokers, wholesalers, importers and other distributors
of gourmet, specialty and ethnic foods. Specific buyers, retailers and
distributors will be invited to the Canada Pavilion to meet each exhibitor.
Other important features of the show are its many workshops and seminars
on new products, trends, distribution and marketing, which will be offered
in the days leading up to the main event. These will give valuable insights
into the American market.
The Canada Pavilion at the 2007 Winter Fancy Food Show will consist of
14 booths and will be located in the centre of the International Section
for maximum visibility and traffic. Exhibitors in the pavilion will enjoy
the advantages of a turnkey booth (complete with hardwall construction,
furnishings and signage), pre-show and on-site support services.
Booth registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis (upon
payment). To secure your participation, please complete and sign the **Application
for Space and Participation Contract form along with a cheque payable
to the "Receiver General for Canada" to the attention of:
