Forecasts for the central and north coast of British Columbia issued 
by Environment Canada at 4.00 PM PST Saturday 9 December 2006 for 
tonight Sunday and Sunday night.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 5.00 AM Sunday.

North Vancouver Island.
Tonight..Periods of rain ending this evening then cloudy. Fog patches 
developing near midnight. Windy. Low plus 5.
Sunday..Cloudy. Showers beginning in the morning. Fog patches 
dissipating in the morning. Wind southeast 20 km/h increasing to 40 
to 60 in the morning. High 7.
Sunday night..Periods of rain. Wind southeast 40 to 60 km/h 
diminishing to 30 gusting to 50 near midnight then becoming light 
thereafter. Low plus 4.

Central Coast - coastal sections.
Tonight..Periods of rain ending late this evening then cloudy. Fog 
patches developing overnight. Windy. Low plus 3.
Sunday..Cloudy. A few showers beginning in the morning. Fog patches 
dissipating in the morning. Wind southeast 20 km/h increasing to 50 
to 70 in the morning. High 6.
Sunday night..Rain. Wind southeast 60 to 80 km/h. Low plus 2.

Central Coast - inland sections.
Tonight..Rain ending this evening then cloudy with 40 percent chance 
of showers. Low plus 1.
Sunday..Cloudy. 60 percent chance of showers in the afternoon. Fog 
patches dissipating late in the morning. High plus 4.
Sunday night..Cloudy. 60 percent chance of rain showers in the 
evening. Rain mixed with snow beginning later in the evening. Low
zero.

North Coast - coastal sections.
Tonight..Rain ending this evening then cloudy. 40 percent chance of 
showers overnight. Low plus 5.
Sunday..Cloudy with 60 percent chance of showers. Wind south 20 km/h 
becoming southeast 30 to 50 in the afternoon except northeast 50 to 
70 near mainland valleys and inlets late in the day. High 7.
Sunday night..Periods of rain. Wind southeast 30 to 50 km/h except 
northeast 50 to 70 near mainland valleys and inlets in the evening. 
Wind becoming southeast 60 to 80 in the evening. Low plus 4.

percent chance of flurries. Fog patches. Low zero.
Sunday..Cloudy with 40 percent chance of rain showers or flurries. 
Becoming windy in the afternoon. High plus 2.
Sunday night..Cloudy. Snow mixed with rain beginning in the evening. 
Snowfall amount 5 cm. Wind northeast 30 to 50 km/h becoming south 40 
to 60 overnight. Temperature steady near zero.
