Synopsis and marine forecasts for the St Lawrence river from Cornwall 
to Anticosti and the Saguenay River issued by Environment Canada 
Montréal at 03:30 AM EST Sunday 10 December 2006 for today with an 
outlook for Monday.
Next forecasts issued at 03:30 PM.

Synopsis at 11:00 PM EST Saturday and forecasts positions by Sunday 
08:00 PM EST.

A frontal wave just south of James Bay Saturday evening with a warm 
front toward Montréal and a cold front southwestward will move to lie 
over the Belle-Isle strait this evening with the cold front toward 
Donnacona.  The winds are south to southwest moderate to strong ahead 
of the warm front and become southwest strong to gales in the warm 
area then become west moderate to strong behind the cold front.

From Cornwall to Montréal.
Winds southwest 15 to 25 knots diminishing to 10 to 15 early this 
evening. Variable cloudiness. High 4.
Outlook for Monday...Winds northeast 10 knots.

From Montréal to Trois-Rivières.
Southwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming northwest 10 to 15 early this 
evening. Variable cloudiness. High 3.
Outlook for Monday...Winds northeast 10 knots.

From Trois-Rivières to Donnacona.
Southwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming northwest 10 to 15 early this 
evening. Cloudy with clear periods. High 2.
Outlook for Monday...Winds northwest 5 to 10 knots.

From Donnacona to Île-aux-Coudres.
Gale warning in effect...
Winds southwest 25 to 35 knots becoming west 10 to 15 early this 
evening. Visibilities at times fair in flurries today. High 2.
Outlook for Monday...Winds west 10 to 15 knots.

From Île-aux-Coudres to Tadoussac.
Gale warning in effect...
Southwest winds 25 to 35 knots becoming northwest 10 to 15 early this 
evening. Visibilities at times fair in flurries until early this 
evening. High 2.
Outlook for Monday...Winds west 10 to 15 knots.

From Chicoutimi to Tadoussac.
Winds variable less than 10 knots becoming west 20 to 30 near midday. 
Fair visibilities in snow until this afternoon. High minus 1.
Outlook for Monday...Winds west 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 25 
in the morning.

From Tadoussac to Pointe-des-Monts.
Gale warning in effect...
Winds southwest 25 to 35 knots. Visibilities at times fair in 
flurries until midday. High 1.
Outlook for Monday...Winds west 10 to 20 knots becoming northwest 20 
to 30 early in the day.

From Pointe-des-Monts to Anticosti - northern half.
