FQCN23 CWHX 100900 Sea state forecast for the Maritimes issued by Environment Canada at 5.00 AM AST Sunday 10 December 2006 for today and tonight. The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 5.00 PM. Forecast values are a combined wind wave and swell height for the open sea. Users are cautioned that heights may differ Significantly in coastal waters and in depths less than 50 metres. Fundy. Seas one to 2 metres subsiding to one metre or less overnight. Grand Manan Lurcher. Seas 2 to 3 metres diminishing to one to 2 metres overnight. Browns Bank Georges Bank Lahave Bank West Scotian Slope. Seas 2 to 3 metres building to 3 to 4 metres this morning then diminishing to 2 to 3 metres overnight. Southwestern shore Eastern Shore Fourchu. Seas one to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 metres this afternoon. Sable East Scotian Slope. Seas 2 to 3 metres building to 3 to 4 metres this afternoon and to 4 to 5 metres this evening then diminishing to near 3 metres overnight. Banquereau Laurentian fan. Seas 3 to 4 metres diminishing to 2 to 3 metres this morning then building to 3 to 4 metres this evening. Cabot strait Northeastern half of Gulf-Magdalen. Seas 2 to 3 metres building to 3 to 4 metres this evening. Southwestern half of Gulf-Magdalen. Seas one to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 metres this evening. Anticosti.
