Canadian Food Inspection Agency - Animal Products - Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy Manual of Procedures

The purpose of this manual of procedures is to guide Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) staff in their response to incidents of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) in Canada. The manual is also intended to direct continued surveillance for this disease.

The manual is available on the common drive for CFIA staff and on the CFIA’s Web site under Reference Material.
