The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and the United States Department
of Agriculture (USDA) have agreed on a science-based framework to minimize
trade disruptions resulting from the detection of Potato Cyst Nematode (PCN).
The framework allows for the creation of regulated
areas and designates conditions for the domestic and international movement
of regulated articles from these areas.
