CRC | Casual Refund Centre - office for the processing of non-commercial refund claims for duties and taxes on postal/courier and traveller importations |
CSO | Cruise Ship Operations - authorized disembarkation site for passengers and crew of all types of cruise ships |
DCO | Designated Commercial Office - office which provides 24 hour service - 7 days a week, for the reporting and clearing of commercial goods |
DRS/M | Direct Reporting Site for Marine Private Vessel - CBSA staffed location where private recreational marine boats may directly report |
EDI | Electronic Data Interchange - office that provides for the electronic transmission and interchange of cargo, release, and accounting data. |
EXPORT | Designated Export Office - designated office for the reporting of exports. |
FAST | Free and Secure Trade - office which provides Free and Secure Trade (FAST) clearance processes |
FAST/DEC | Free and Secure Trade: Driver Enrollment Centers - offices having a driver enrollment centre for the Free and Secure Trade (FAST) program located on the premises |
FERRY | Ferry Terminal - authorized point of entry for the disembarkation of passengers and/or vehicles arriving by ferry |
HUB | HUB- Central Office - office responsible for providing service to Inland Alternate Service (IAS) sites and other service locations reporting to the HUB |
HWY/B | Highway - Land Border Office - authorized port of entry from the USA for the processing of passengers and/or commercial highway traffic arriving by land |
IAS | Inland Alternate Service - location not staffed by CBSA for which a designated HUB office provides commercial services. |
IMM | Immigration - office at which clients can receive a full range of immigration services |
INLAND | Inland Customs Office - customs office classified as non direct point of entry providing a full range of customs services to the general public and to other service sites. e.g. In-bond highway, marine, rail, etc. |
NEXUS/HWY | NEXUS Highway - authorized point of entry for members of the joint Canada/U.S. NEXUS Highway Program |
NEXUS/MARINE | NEXUS MARINE SITES - NEXUS Marine - authorized point of entry for members of the joint Canada/U.S. NEXUS Marine Program. |
NTO | Non-Terminal Office - office where electronic services and computer terminals are not available for the electronic transmission and interchange of cargo, release and accounting data. |
RAIL | Railway Depot - authorized point of entry for the reporting of passengers and/or freight arriving by rail |
SHOP | Duty-Free Shop - location at which a duty free shop is located within close proximity |
SWH | Sufferance Warehouse / Highway - highway sufferance warehouse or special warehouse for perishable goods |
TRS/M | Telephone Reporting Site - Marine - location at which non-commercial, private and passenger marine vessels may report to customs by telephone |
