PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY WAYNE EASTER TO ANNOUNCE RENEWAL FUNDING FOR FARMERS

OTTAWA, March 16, 2005 - Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture and Agri-Food Wayne Easter will be in Charlottetown on Thursday, March 17 to announce, on behalf of Agriculture and Agri-Food Minister Andy Mitchell, funding for a new program. This program is designed to help farmers in P.E.I. gain the skills they need to adapt to their changing business environment and to develop new market opportunities.
