MINISTER STRAHL TO TOUR THE CANADIAN FOOD INSPECTION AGENCY LAB IN CALGARY

Ottawa, March 10, 2006 - Federal Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board Chuck Strahl will be in Calgary on Monday, March 13 to meet with industry leaders and visit the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) Laboratory in Calgary. Media are invited to a photo opportunity with the Minister at the end of the tour of the laboratory's facilities. Following the tour, the Minister will be available to speak to media.
