MINISTER STRAHL TO SPEAK ON FEDERAL BUDGET

Ottawa, Ontario, May 17, 2006 - Federal Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board Chuck Strahl will hold a news conference at the National Press Theatre in Ottawa on Thursday, May 18. He will give details on the initiatives for the agriculture sector announced in the Budget 2006. The Minister will be available to speak to media following the news conference.
