FUNDING ANNOUNCEMENT FOR POTATO SECTOR PROJECT

GRAND FALLS, New Brunswick, July 19, 2006 - Media are invited to a news conference in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, regarding funding for a project of importance to the potato sector. Tobique-Mactaquac MP Mike Allen will make the announcement on behalf of the Honourable Chuck Strahl, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board. Provincial and potato industry representatives will also be present.
