Phase 2 - Review Phase
The Parliamentary Review of CEPA 1999 is conducted every five years after coming into force. The Committee(s) conduct a comprehensive review of the provisions and operations of the Act and make recommendations regarding any changes to the Act or its administration. Unless otherwise instructed, the Committee(s) will have one year, once begun, to conduct the Review and prepare the final report(s). Should a Committee require more time, it can seek an extension from Parliament.
