ExCeL, London
18 - 21 March, 2007
Thinking of exhibiting at IFE 2007? Once again, the High
Commission in London, supported by Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada,
is bringing together companies to create a showcase for Canadian products.
IFE's organisers, FreshRM, have continued to review and update the
show with this years show including seminars on international consumer
trends, new product and innovation showcases, and three international
restaurants. This event aims to deliver new international ideas to the
UK market along with bringing together suppliers and buyers from all around
the world.
IFE is one of the top five food exhibitions in the world and the largest
food & beverage event in the UK. In 2005 the show brought together
1,500 exhibitors and over 26,000 visitors from around the world.
IFE delivers more buyers with purchasing power from the retail, catering
and wholesale sectors than any other UK exhibition. With over 3,000 international
visitors from more than 100 countries, and over 40 international pavilions
it is also the UK's most international food and drink trade event.
IFE 2007 once again takes place at London's newest and most exciting
venue. Situated in the Royal Docks, just six 6 miles from Trafalgar Square,
ExCeL is set alongside a mile and a half of unique waterside scenery.
The centre has benefited from a massive £10 billion investment programme.
The UK has a population of over 60 million, and is served by the world's
most sophisticated retail sector. Consumer food and beverage expenditures
amount to approximately $360 billion, with a constantly growing demand
for new, value added, convenience and speciality foods.
The UK is Canada's seventh largest agri-food export market, with
combined agri-food and seafood exports totalling $351.6 million in 2005.
The "Canada Pavilion" will provide a professional environment
for exhibitors to display the wide variety of quality products that Canada
has to offer. So whether you are looking to launch your latest product
range, expand into new, emerging markets, promote your brand or simply
boost sales, take advantage of this exciting opportunity to be part of
the UK's biggest food and drinks event!
