Release of Cultivars

The Eastern Cereal and Oilseed Research Centre releases plant cultivars, suitable for production in eastern Canada, when they become available. Companies and organizations are invited each spring to submit a proposal for the exclusive right to market pedigree seed of these cultivars in North America.

Release of corn inbred Lines

The Eastern Cereal and Oilseed Research Centre is responsible for the release of all corn inbred lines developed by Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada (AAFC).
