Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada wish to collaborate with a company that is interested in commercially exploiting new proprietary technologies developed at the Eastern Cereal and Oilseed Research Centre.

Release of Cultivars

The Eastern Cereal and Oilseed Research Centre releases plant cultivars, suitable for production in eastern Canada, when they become available. Companies and organizations are invited each spring to submit a proposal for the exclusive right to market pedigree seed of these cultivars in North America.

• Applicants are expected to be a member of the Canadian Seed Trade Association or the Canadian Seed Grower's Association to qualify for a license.
• Other essential requirements and the criteria for selection.

Release of corn inbred Lines

The Eastern Cereal and Oilseed Research Centre is responsible for the release of all corn inbred lines developed by Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada (AAFC).

How to access AAFC Corn Inbred Lines for testing in North America if you are a company:

Testing in Europe

• Agri-Obtentions is Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada's agent in the European Community for the testing and commercialization of all corn inbred lines. An approprate license can be obtained from Agri-Obtentions at the following address:
